How did Milgrams experiment differ from Zimbardos experiment

The milgram experiment is a social psychology experiment conducted for the first time in 1961 by the psychologist from whom it takes its name.It was necessary to learn human reaction to being arrested and being in prison.The milgram and zimbardo experiments showed how humans are so obedient that we are capable of hurting innocent people if ordered to do so.Conducting the stanford prison experiment zimbardo tried to discover the mechanism of interrelation between prisoners and guards.The stanford prison experiment conducted by psychologist philip zimbardo in 1971 illustrated the direct relationship between power of situations and circumstances to shape an individual's behavior.
